Text Box: Welcome to West High School, the home of the Falcons!!! As I start my first year as Athletic Director at Davenport West High School, I wonder where the 27 years have gone. I was a high school senior here at Davenport West when I made a commitment that one day I would return to West High School to coach. I was given this opportunity by some legendary coaches such as, Roger Harrington and Paul Flynn. I would like to thank them for that great opportunity and experience to help start my career as a coach and educator. I am excited about serving you as Athletic Director. Our expectations for our student/athletes are very high and during this season I am confident you will see great strides in our programs. Our student/athletes have put in many hours in the weight room preparing for their seasons and have made tremendous strength improvements. As we are enjoying the talents of our students this fall, please remember that we are members of the Iowa High School Athletic Association and the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union and we fully support both organizations with respect to sportsmanship, ethics and integrity. We encourage all spectators to model a positive attitude and continue to give our students the support they deserve and appreciate. Be a fan, cheer the triumphs and praise the efforts of all our students. Thank you for being a part of the West High Family. Enjoy the sports season and best of luck to our students and coaches.
